find the denominators that work for each fraction for instance. the denominators for ten are 1, 2, 5,10 the denominators for 20 are 1,2, 4,5,10,20 then you look at both sets to find the LCD.

You should never find them, they are the numbers that find holes and leak information out of your brain! Not really, but I don't feel the need to find the numbers!
