you can change your skin colour and add clothes to it where it says EDIT AVATAR.  you buy clothes with points that you earn (used as credits) and the colour of the skin is totally free . :)

go up to the top of the page that is called Your Account.

Well, cuz you didn't buy anything to design your avatar. You can just change your skin color by simply clicking the Your Account button. Then click Edit my Avatar. Then click on skin color then pick a color. Design your avatar as much as you want  with the credits you have.
