There is no solution to this problem. Add 2y to each side of the second equation and you'll get x+2y=9. Graph both equations and you'll see they are parallel and don't intersect. Or, convert both equations into slope intercept form and you'll get -(1/2)x+1=y and -(1/2)x+9/2=y. Since they both have the same slope, m=-(1/2), they are parallel and don't intersect. Therefore there is no solution.
