Hi there! Many people are under the assumption that infinity divided by infinity is equal to 1. It extremely important to note that this is not the case. Infinity times any number is undefined. Thus we come to the conclusion that infinity divided by any number is also undefined. To put it into perspective, think of it this way: since it is an infinite number, you can never reach the answer because there well always be a greater number. To sum up: infinity divided by infinity is undefined. Hope this helped! :)

infinity / infinity is 1, because  if you do x instead of infinity (because you don't know infinity), x/x is 1. anything divided by itself is one

the answer is infinite which makes it an irrational number. it can never be found, or it has to many digits to count ex: pi.

I still don't get it. What is the nature if infinity then? Is it a number in itself? Is it the sum of all numbers? Or, is it an abstract value?
