The width is 23.71 and the length is 37.94 in approximation .The area of the unfinished ice surface is 90% of the entire rink,meaning it is 900m^2. i tried , hope it helps

if you have a rectangle who's width is 25m and length is 40m, the area would be 1000m^2. If you subtract 10% of the area, he would have 900m^2 left. Divide that by 40m to get the width of 22.5m. I hope this helps, but I'm not quite so clear as to what the question is asking. Good luck!
