Please help me. 2[ln(x-1)-3ln(y)]-4ln(z)

Do you multiply the 2 to the expression in the bracket first? so that you would get 2ln(x-1)-6ln(y)-4ln(z)? I know how to solve the rest of the equation to condense it. However, I'm not sure what to do with the 2. PLEASE HELP ME.

Yes, u should always solve for brackets. You should multiply the 2 to the expression.

Always solve inside the brackets first.  You are right on.
