Please help me understand how to solve log sqrt(1000). I see how it breaks down in the HW Checker but seem to just not be getting it that well. Thanks

the power on the sqrt(1000) is 1/2.  The third law of logs says that the power can be brought in front of the log so log(sqrt(1000)) = 1/2 log (1000) = 1/2 (3) = 3/2
