It's simple, just put the number 7 over 1. Then multiply 1 by 3 so you have the same denominator for each ratio. Then, multiply the 7 by 3 because 'whatever you do on the bottom, you have to do on the top.' This gives you 2/3 + 21/3 which equals 23/3. This number cannot be simplified so this is your answer.
