Assuming the problem is 3(5x+2) = 2(3x-6) and you are instructed to solve for x...1.  Distribute 3 into 5x and 215x + 6 = 6x -122.  Isolate by subtracting -6x from both sides to move it to the left side and subtracting 6 from both sides to move it to the right.15x-6x = -12-63.  Simplify by combining like terms.9x = -184.  Solve by dividing both sides by 9.x = -2
