Derivatives of trig functions

shortround

by shortround at April 29, 2010

I am stuck on this question: f (θ) = θsinθcosθ and I have to find the derivative. I used to product rule to get f ' (θ) = θ(cosθ)^2 - θ(sinθ)^2

But I used my calculator to graph the derivative of f(θ) and I got a different answer. Would someone please be able to show me the steps of this question?

Thanks!!
