as they have said, use a graphic calculator. But.. if this shows up in a non- calculator exam...its gonna take a bit time.since the constant is -8, the zeros of this functions are going to be the factors of 8, either negative or positive.list out the factors :-1, 1 , -2 , 2 , -4 , 4 , -8 , 8plug them all in  and check,  u will find out tht the function is going to be zero when x  is :-1 , 1 , 2 and 4
