My question is 5x over x(x-3) + 2x(5x+2) over x(x-3). Since the denomenaters are the same do i to multiply the 2x times 5x and then the 2x times 2 first

Chris Since the denominators of both terms are the same, you need to add the numerators of both terms. (5x + 2x) / [x(x - 3)] I hope this helps remind you how fractions work.
