On a regular you could not do this, and would need to work it out on paper.  But with some calculators there is a [/] button you can use, so...1[/]2[/]3[/]4[=]3/8

If you want to divide 1/2 by 3/4, the correct answer is 2/3.  See my earlier reply this this same question. PROVE: If we multiply 2/3 by 3/4, the answr should be 1/2. 2/3 times 3/4 = 2/4 = 1/2 So, the correct answer is 2/3 not 3/8 or 1/24 as someone posted earlier.  Check out link below to review division and multiplication of fractions. I agree with the earlier post. 1/2 divided by 3/4 is 2/3.Two additional points. When dividing by a value less than one, the quotient (result of a division) should be MORE than what you started with. 3/8 cannot be correct since it is less than 1/2.On a calculator, try entering (1/2)/(3/4) with parentheses.
