Remember, entropy is "chaos" or a state of disorder. The universe's disorder or entropy is always increasing. To keep any part orderly and organized takes energy to fight that entropy. Think about a piece of wood- it's highly organized with bark and rings organized into cells made of highly complex molecules, ie very low entropy. It took years of photosynthesis absorbing the energy of sun to build that. When you burn that log, you take that highly organized structure and turn it into a scattered mass of CO2 and H2O and ash that spreads out all over the place. That's very high entropy (and now low energy). So, in thinking about the metal object, say a spoon, when does it have the most organization (low entropy), in spoon form or scattered dust? Hopefully you can see it's much more organized when together as a spoon. That means when it turns to dust, it would have HIGH entropy, or answer C
