when you have a function and you try to get its domain with fractions and it has square roots in the denominator, do you just do the denominator?

Did you see the second video? The teacher presented a question involving a radical in the denominator. The question for problem 2 is g(x) = 1/(3 - sqrt{x + 1}) and we are told to find the domain. Go watch that video clip. If you don understand what's going on, write back.
