What are some good ways to prepare for a test? (Mainly the kind where you have to write the answer) Because I DO get good grades on those tests, but now I want to really prove that I know my stuff.

Trust me, carrotnosedude, my teacher thinks I'm too good for his help (just kidding!). But I mean things like how to stay focused an not drift off into some fairytale land (THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN TO ME!).

If you really want to see how much you know then take a few practice tests. If you begin to drift off course then start telling yourself that if i pass this then i get to do this.

Make sure to eat a good breakfast--as obvious as it is, it really helps. If I don't eat enough, I'm only thinking about how hungry I am instead of the test. Also, again, an obvious one, but get a lot of sleep. A lot. I try to get extra sleep before a test because my usual 7-8 hours of sleep isn't enough--especially if the test is in the morning, I'll find myself yawning and not concentrating. Finally, be prepared. I'm not saying that you need to know the material better, but even if you're already an expert at it, the more you review it, the more comfortable you will be with it. I tend to blank out during a test sometimes, and then afterwards, think to myself, "I knew that!" The more I study, even if I already know the material, the less this seems to happen. It will just come more naturally to you.

OK well I believe you should always sleep earlier, and NOT CRAM For the test, it makes it harder to think. Don't overload studying. In the morning eat a breakfast, a good one. When taking a test think about keywords and include them in your answers

You could try to take a few deep beaths before the test. But before that, just focus on studying.Dont think about how bored you are.Just think about getting your studying done.Dont think about playing outside or playing video games.Dont put on music while you are studying because then you would not be able to concentrate. When it is the day before the test,go to sleep early so you will feel fresh.Dont ever study on the day right before the test or you would not be concentrated, you would be really sleepy!Hope you will get a good score after youread this!!!

make sure you are well rested, don't cram, make sure you eat breakfast, relax going into the test, read each question carefully, if it is a short aswer response mentally plan your response make sure you cover every topic.

Eat plenty of carbs to keep calm so that you don't get nervous, get plenty of sleep, and remember that it's not the end of the world. Also, breath normally because those that get nervous start to breath fast which gives their brain less oxygen, which then makes them forget how to do some of the material. But no pressure. GOOD LUCK!
