Lets take this step by step. First, choose on that you want to graph. It helps if you use two different color pens. So lets start with y=1/3x+ 2Well, that is already in y=mx+b form    So m= 1/3 (rise over run)  and b=2 (B is your y intercept) So when you graph the first part, yuo start at your Y inercept, or B, and graph it on the +2. Then, you go from there and Rise 1, and Run 3.  do that a couple of times and then you draw your line through it.for  X+Y=-2 is trickier. You want to get Y on a side by itself.  So you do    X+Y=-2  -X+Y=-2 So then you have a negative X, which gets rid of the X on the side w/ the Y.Then, you have Y=-2+-XSo now you have that in Y=mx+b form.  M=-2/1 (or -2 over positive 1, which is rse over run) and your Y  intercept, B=-1, because for every variable, you have to have a coefficiant in front of it, and it is always 1 unless there is a number given in place of it. So you would graph -1 on the y interept, and then go down 2, over 1 because Of rise over run
