I cannot graph on this site using my keyboard. However, I can answer the question posted. y = kx is a form of direct variation equation, where k is the constant of variation. You were given a point where x = 1 and y = 2. We first need to find k. 2 = (1)k 2 = k Then your direction variation equation is y = 2x. You can now use y = 2x to graph a linear equation on the xy-plane.
