how do you find the domain AND range for an equation that has square roots in only part of the equation, and how do you find the domain AND range for an equation with a cube root or something?

If an equation has a cube root and you want to find the domain and range, just know that it will ALWAYS be all real numbers (from my Algebra 2 class) as for square roots, it is a bit more difficult, depending on where the graph starts (ie. the square root of x + 2 will start at (-2,0) the graph may have x>or equal to -2
