how to put the radical sign in my problem? my computer does't have a radical key

I use Word 2007 to do it. Just go to the insert tab, and click the equation button on the symbols box. There you will find a button for radicals. I know there is a way to do it on previous Word versions, but I'm not sure of the path. I hope this helps!
