Pythagorean Triples are triangle side lengths that, when substituted in, make the Pythagorean Theorem true.  For example, 3-4-5 makes a Pythagorean Triple because 9 + 16 = 25.  Also, check out: Pythagorean Triples

in 6th century B.C. Pythagoras discovered a relationship between the hypotenuse of a right triangle and its 2 legs, namely, the sum of the squares of the two legs will always = to the square of the hypotenuse. The most common one is the 3-4-5 rt triangle, the others are 5-12-13, 8-15-17, 7-24-25 and 9-40-41. Of course there are many, many more of these triples, but remember these for your SAT will be helpful.
