4n-28=3(2n)4n-28=6n-28=6n-4n-28=2nn=-28/2n=-14That's what I'd do anyway. Hope it helps. =)

First things first multiply both sides by three to get rid of the denominator:4n-28=2n 3It should now look like this:4n-28=2n*3multiply 2n by 3 and it should now look like this:4n-28=6nnext subtract 4n from both sides to leave the n's on one side:(-4n)+4n-28=6n-4n-28=2nNow divide both sides by two:-28=2n                                        2     2-14=nthe answer is n=-14.
