How do i find the perimeter of a rhombus, given the  diagonals lengths 12 and 16

1.  Draw the picture and label the diagonals.  -You will see that, since diagonals in a rhombus are perpendicular bisectors of each other, you have 4 right triangles with legs of 6 and 8.  2.  Use the Pythagorean Theorem (or recognize the Pythagorean Triple) to find the hypotenuse, which will be the side of your rhombus.  3.  From the side length you can find the perimeter.
