The slope-intercept form is y = mx+b, where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept.  B is the constant you are trying to solve for in this case.  Plug the coordinates of the x-intercept into the equation.  It should be in the form (x,0).  Then solve for b.Example: (-1, 0) is the x-intercept and 2 is the slopePlugging the x-intercept and slope into the equation:0 = (2*-1) + b0 = -2 + b2 = bso the equation in slope-intercept form is:y = 2x+2Hope that helps!
