I am not sure how to find the percent increase for two numbers like 37 to 96. Can you please explain it to me?                                        Thanks, Meghana

percent increase/original percent = %/100 Let P = percent (96 - 37)/37 = P/100 59/37 = P/100 37P = 59(100) 37P = 5900 P = 5900/37 P = 159.4594595 P = 159.5%

no, he's wrong. The answer is definetly more than that, even more than 200%, coming to nearly 300. You just divide 96 by 37, which yields about 259%.
