In your calculator just put brackets around negative 4 divided by 3 and times it by three ( 3(-4/3)) If you have a graphing calculator, press Math>Frac>Enter to turn the answer back into a fraction.

the top part of the fraction -4/3 is called the numeratorand the bottom part of the fraction is called denominatorso, to multiply 3 by -4/3, you would multiple 3 with the numerator (12) and leave the denominator part alone then simplify if possible;3 * (-4/3) = -12/3 = -4   (-4 because 12 can be divided by 3, the minus sign tags along with the result)
