I want to go to I.V league universities and on my schedule for senior year I have choir and this is my second year doing it. Um I still need to take P.E (Physical Education) so can I remove choir?

Also, on that question, I dont want to remove choir because I want to be a well rounded student and at the same point. I need to take that P.E. class so that I can graduate. Also, if choir is gone out of my scheduleI I can take Calculus instead of A.P. Stastitics that I origionally had and since I took Calculus I and 2 at a community college during the summer that would be a good advantage for me. In addition, I want to major in engineering and with another free spot on my schedule I can take the 3rd year engineering that is offered at school. My resume looks really good overall and by removing choir I still have the chess club, soccer, national honor society, and the yes club.

Sounds like you should take out the choir class! You are already a pretty well rounded person without taking choir class this year especially since you've taken it last year! In the end, it's really up to you!

Some schools give PE credit for athletics. If you're doing soccer through the school, check with your counselor or coach to see if that will work. About Calculus, does the Calculus 1 & 2 qualify you to take AP Calculus BC? If the Calculus on your campus is essentially the same as your summer course, you should check with your counselor to see if you can "double dip" into the same class. If you have transferable college credit already in Calculus, then, while it may be harder work, taking AP Stats may give you even more credits so you can enter college with a leg up on the competition. Engineering is one of the more challenging majors, and the more classes you can get out of the way before you enter college, the easier your life will eventually be. But, I second the notion that you're the one who has to live this decision, so you should make the decision that's best for you, both in terms of pumping up your resume AND in terms of enjoying what you're learning.

seriously, rodney015, you are pretty amazing already. but i would recommend you that keep choir, but take pe somewhere else online or at a community school, because college won't even look at your PE at all!!! as long as you do good at academic and outstanding athletic life, then if i'm the dean at the ivy league, i think i will accept you!!!

you should probably remove choir because it sounds like that way you can take some better classes.
