again wrong from my calculation when u square anything to the second power it becomes a positive that will only be the case if u do -(2)^2 because then the - will count as a negitve 1 nd it will not be squared that prob is worded wron

-2^2 = -1*2*2= -4 (-2)^2 = -2*-2 = 4 It's all about the placement of parentheses. Has to do with order of operations.
