I didn't get the multiplicative inverse part about the fractions

In other words, take the number, say 8, and flip the fraction from 8/1 to 1/8. So the multiplicative inverse of 8 is 1/8. If you have a fraction, say 3/4, and you want the multiplicative inverse of that, then you do the same thing. You flip 3/4 into 4/3. So the multiplicative inverse of 3/4 is 4/3.

the multiplicative inverse is two rational numbers whose product is 1.  For example: 7/8 x 8/7= 56/56 which equals 1.
