if .3333333....(3 with a line over it) equals 3/9 and .66666.....(.6 with a line over it) equals 6/9, so does that mean .3with a line over it and .6with a line over it eqaul 1?
No. Because .3 with a line over it is 1/3 and .6 with a line over it is not 6/9. But if it was than it would equal one. But there is a different fraction for .666666(with a line over it)
First, 3/9=1/3 and 6/9=2/3I think you would need a more advanced math (pre calculus/calculus) because 0.33333333...=1/3and 0.66666666...=2/3 and 0.333...+0.666...=0.999...and 1/3+2/3=3/3=1I will get back when I find out.
