Brightstorm Q & A : Hello there. My name is Eric & I have a question that I beleive your expertise can answer. How do we know if a gene is dominant or recessive? Take the breeding of Ball Pythons for example.There are hundreds or different colors and patterns now and I am wondering if there is an applicable formula that I can use on a constant & continuous basis in order that I may know what it is I am pairing together and what I can expect in any given clutch that I am producing. The ability to predetermine upcoming clutches helps tremendously & ensures clean and wonderful traits. These animals are beautiful to me & are one of my very favorite.
