I am not 100% sure of what you mean by slope intercept, but I believe you mean an equation in the form y = mx + b. Correct me if I'm wrong here.In the next few years you will be wondering why you had problems with this, its really easy, just takes a bit of practice. Ok say you have an equation y = 1/2x -4:Bring y to the other side, order by descending order (x value, then y value, then whole number)1/2x - y - 4 = 0OR0 = 1/2x - y - 4Normally we try to avoid fractions. Multiply everything in the equation by the denominator of the fraction, 2, so the fraction is gone.2(1/2x - y - 4) = 0x - 2y - 8 = 0And there you have it! Doesn't seem too hard now does it? Its one of those questions that look tough, but they don't take too much effort to figure out.
