m=slop (x1,x2) (y1,y2) (5,-7) (8,-6) x1=5,and x2=-7 y1=8,and y2=-6 formula for finding the slop for the line passing through some points is, m=y2-y1/x2-x1 so putting the valeus of x1,x2,y1,y2 m=-6-8/-7-5 m=-14/-12 so minus signs of numerator and denomenator are cancled so, m=7/6 this the slop of a line passing through a points (5,8)and(-7,-8)
