in the play of romeo and juliet... what was the plot?

Read the play, and come up with your own answer to that one because I found a lot of people have different ideas about what the plot is. I guess it really depends on what you think the theme was and all that jazz. I just do not think that whatever you are going to find in a textbook is going to be a sufficient answer. The plot is not necessarily set in stone, Shakespeare likes to do that kind of thing... ;-)
