Well first of all, convert miles in to feet. 1 mile is equivalent to 5280 feet, so multiple 325 miles by 5280. 325 x 5280 = 1716000 feet. Now take the hours you have and express it in minutes. 1 hour is 60 minutes, so 6 hours is 6 x 60 = 360 minutes. Now don't forget about that .5 hour. Half an hour is 30 minutes. So in total, you have 360 + 30 = 390 minutes. Now basically you divide the number of feet you had by the total number of minutes John spent driving:1716000/390 = 4400 ft/minuteHope that helps! :)
