consecutive numbers are numbers that are before or after that exact number. for example, one set of consecutive numbers are: 1,2,3,4. each number is near a number before or after it, making it a set of consecutive. a consecutive odd or even number is the same, however you skip the odds if it asks for even consecutive numbers, and skip the even if it asks you for odd numbers. for example, an even consecutive set would be: 2,4,6,8 and an odd consecutive would be 1,3,5,7,9 :)
