Construction: 1.  With one endpoint of the line as a center     and a radius with more than 1/2 the length     of the line, construct arcs above and below     the line. 2.  With the other endpoint of the line as a     center using the same radius, construct     similar arcs that intersect the previously     constructed  arcs. 3.  Draw a line segment connecting the     intersection points of the constructed arcs.
