Karla -Since this is a degree 3 polynomial, then you MUST have 3 factors.  Here they are:f(x) = [x - 2/5] [x - (1 - i) ] [x - (1 + i) ]Notice that the factors include (1 + i).  Why? Because all complex zeroes come in conjugate pairs. So, if (1 - i) is a zero, then so must (1 + i)Multiply the three factors above and this will give you a general solution to f(x).If then, I can only guess that this means the leading coefficient is -3/4, but the wording of the problem is very unclear.Hope this helps
