It looks likes it increases by six when he multiplied the 3 by the 1/2.. Cross-multiply 3*2=6 and 1*1=1 Hope I helped with that!!

So there is an equation F=40m Now if I write the (a) again,3F = (1/2x) 40mTo make this equation true to F=40m, we need to find an x value of 1/2x = 3, thus x= 3*2 = 6I hope this helped!
