Jacqueline -Use all the information provided, then decide how to approach a solution:17800 = 5400ln(4t + 7)Now, we need to solve for t which is the number of years.  Since t is part of the ln function, let's first divide both sides by 5400:, next simplifyNext step is to get rid of the ln function.  The only way to do that is to exponentiate both sides using the base of ln which is e:, now simplify again, next subtract 7 from both sides , finally divide both sides by 4I'll leave it for you to do the final math using your calculator.
