If you're asked to factor a polynomial with degree 3, chances are you'll be using one of the following 3 methods: (1.) Factor out a GCF term with x, leaving a quadratic polynomial that you already know how to factor, (2) Using the formulas for the sum or difference of cubes with two terms, or (3) factoring by grouping with four terms.
