Solving a Logarithmic Equation with Multiple Logs - Problem 5 689 views
If two logs have the same base and are being added, we can work with them by combining them into one log using the product rule. Then rewrite the equation in exponential form, solve, and remember to check for extraneous solutions. Whatever you're putting into the log function must be greater than zero!
