One tool used throughout Algebra, Trigonometry, and Calculus is a graphing calculator. One thing using a graphing calculator is helpful for is solving systems of equations. We can solve systems of linear equations by using a graphing calculator and matrices. We can also solve systems of nonlinear equations by using a graphing calculator to graph their equations and find the intersection.

Depending on your teacher you're either going to use a lot of calculator in Algebra 2 or not much of a calculator. And so what I'm going to do now is just sort of show you some basic calculator skills that you can use to help you solve various problems you're going to see throughout the year.
