Precalculus MM: Prison Quest End: Polar Coordinates and Complex Numbers 4: NWN 0147a

Her initial aim on entering the Hall of Justice is to seek out Lady Aribeth, but then she remembers about the Stone of Recall so approaches Sergol instead. After greeting him she hands the teleportation device to him.
Sergol: "Where are the bindings?"
Zanzi, rummaging through her inventory: "They're in here somewhere," and she continues searching until, "Ah, here it is." The stern look on Sergol's face as she hands him the rope intimidates Zanzi slightly, who cannot but then feel a little like a sheepish girl returning a damaged item of great worth that had been trusted to her care.
Zanzi: "Sorry, the rope came loose when the stone was knocked out of my hands during battle."
Sergol: "You're not supposed to use it in battle."
Zanzi, fighting a strong urge to repeat her apology: "Can you fix it?"
There is no difficulty in Sergol restoring the stone's functionality, it just requires that the rope to be wound round it in a specific way, but as he's feeling cross with Zanzi for, as he sees it, being frivolous with this highly prized teleportation device, he's tempted to charge her for fixing it. Inevitably, though, he succumbs to the young elf's endearing demeanour and instead tells himself to lighten up.
Sergol: "There's really nothing to it. Look ..." and he shows her how to wrap the rope around the stone. On handing the mended Stone of Recall back to Zanzi, Sergol pretends to be slightly grumpy with her again: "Now you listen. Be more careful with this in future, right? If the stone breaks or chips it'll be permanently damaged."
Zanzi, seeing through the fake attitude but very aware of the importance of the instruction: "I understand. Thank you, Sergol," and she places the stone back into her inventory before heading off in search of Lady Aribeth.

It transpires that Aribeth is currently in a meeting with Fenthick so Zanzi has to wait for her in the main temple area. As the elf rests sitting with her back against a plinth she unexpectedly falls asleep, only to be woken a short time later by a concerned looking Lady Aribeth.
Aribeth, bending down to gently waken the elf: "Zanzi, Zanzi. This is no place for you to be sleeping, my dear."
Zanzi's fatigue is great and it takes a few seconds for her to fully waken, however as her eyes slowly focus on the beautiful elf looking directly at her she is soon reacquainted with the whys and wherefores of her visit to the Temple of Tyr.
Zanzi, rising sluggishly to her feet: "Lady Aribeth, I..."
Aribeth, helping the obviously exhausted elf up, strikes slightly stern maternalistic tone: "Hush now, Zanzi, you obviously need to rest," and before Zanzi has a chance to explain anything she is being led by Aribeth in her typically forthright manner to one of the first floor bedrooms of the Hall of Justice. It is only after they arrive at the bedroom that Zanzi has an opportunity to tell to Aribeth that she has killed the intellect devourer and to give her the creature's brain. Aribeth seems very pleased when telling Zanzi that she knew she wouldn't let her down, yet Zanzi's reward for completing this quest is a less than substantial 500GP. Now Zanzi is considerably more deferential towards Lady Aribeth than Sedos Sebile so she's of no mind to request more money or even let show her inner disappointment, and instead simply responds with a, "Thank you, Aribeth. You are most generous." And besides, Aribeth's explanation that battling the plague has drained the coffers of Neverwinter is very plausible. Before departing Aribeth instructs Zanzi to take as much time as she feels necessary to rest before attempting to locate the remaining three Waterdhavian creatures.
