Casting Cure Minor Wounds on herself before moving on (as the game refuses her request to rest because of nearby enemies), she now exits the store room almost back to full health. In order for her to rest and restore her vital Invisibility spell the game forces her to explore the east corridor and combat these nearby enemies. With just Bard Song, Curse Song and a few minor spells at her disposal, she has to yet again delve into her curative potions, which are now becoming quite seriously depleted. When she has killed all the prisoners from the east corridor she makes her way back to the store room in the north corridor and this time the game does allow her to rest.
Zanzi: "What's the situation with the Shar polygon?"
MP: "I've removed it from the amygdala and have it under quarantine. It can't harm us now. I don't know, Zanzi, it's up to you what you want to do with it. As far as I'm concerned keeping it quarantined is the best option."
Zanzi: "I'm not so sure. Its technology is very advanced. What's the situation with the rogue s-polygons?"
MP: "It took all my resources to stop their attack but they're no longer a threat to the polygon, which remains very seriously and probably permanently damaged."
Zanzi: "I want them promoted three stages if minor and one stage if senior rank. We owe them everything."
Zanzi: "Have you learnt anything about this triangle?"
MP: "It's a Shar construct. She created it and she implanted it in us during our last level up."
Zanzi: "The prison barracks."
MP: "Yeah. Not surprisingly it's completely deferential to Shar. It's obsessive, self-absorbed and narcissistic - multiple personality flaws."
Zanzi: "Insane, in other words."
MP: "No. I wouldn't say that. It knows what it's doing in minute detail - everything has been calculated with extreme precision. It wants us to feel the same passion for Shar as it feels for her."
Zanzi: "Well I've heard enough, it's too emotionally unstable and frankly it gives me the creeps. I want it terminated. See to it please."
MP: "Actually, it asked me to ask you if you were to come to that decision that you allow it to speak to Shar for one last time."
Zanzi: "Got to be kidding!"
MP: "Yeah, that was a daft request. But, as I say, I don't think there's anything we need to worry about so long as it remains quarantined. How do you think Shar will react if we kill it?"
Zanzi: "Let me worry about Shar. If she's as obsessed about us as I think she is, I don't think she'll harm us - much."
MP: "Oh really! Of course, there's nothing to stop Shar just replacing this triangle for another."
Zanzi: "Well the damage is done anyway whatever happens and I can't run the risk of losing another henchman every time that thing gets a hard on for Shar. It's an advanced piece of invasive technology, who knows what restorative algorithms it's got up its sleeve. Please just get rid of it - and also inform Selune's 45-45-90 that if it tries anything similar it will come to the same end."
