To the northeast of the main entrance room is a door which she discovers has been armed with a trap, which Tomi disables. As it's likely more escaped prisoners are in this room she casts Mage Armor and Resistance on herself and she also sings a Bard Song before opening the door. When she opens the door there are four or five convicts in this room (which appears to be an office), and they immediately rush to attack Zanzi. Tomi pushes past Zanzi to protect her. To weaken the attacking prisoners she sings a Curse Song before standing back and firing bolts at the convicts attacking Tomi. When all the prisoners have been killed she takes anything of worth from the dead, loots what she can from the office and then rests and falls asleep.

Confirmation of kills for Zanzi is similar to confirmation of spells, except the game sends confirmation data to a right angled triangle proof polygon that lies within a three dimensional rectangular prism located near Zanzi's master parallelogram. As all proof polygons are dynamic this also means that the prism's dimensions are also in flux. This is an enhanced security measure designed to prevent NPC's from tricking Zanzi by feigning death. A confirmed kill means that the confirmation data can be unlocked by Zanzi only when she supplies the dimensions of the right triangle proof polygon to the final part of the confirmation data using the converse of the Pythagorean theorem (3-4-5, 5-12-13, 8-15-17, 7-24-25 are the line segment length triplets she uses most, but any multiples of these will apply). Because the dimensions of the proof polygon are in constant proportionate flux, only Zanzi can supply the precise dimensions for the polygon at the instant she receives the confirmation data. If the confirmation data remain sealed after Zanzi supplies the dimensions to this proof polygon then the death of an NPC cannot be confirmed and she will know that the NPC must be feigning death, in which case she will continue attacking until the confirmation data are unlocked.

During her last level up, when Zanzi was transformed into energy and transferred to the planes of positive and negative energies, the entities which inhabit those planes each implanted energy into Zanzi which, when she was transferred back to the material plane, became two right triangles, a 45-45-90 located in the left amygdala construct and a 30-60-90 located in the right amygdala construct of the medial temporal lobes of her brain. Both polygons have remained dormant, but now, as Zanzi rests and allows herself to fall asleep, the 30-60-90 triangle implanted by the entity from the plane of negative energy becomes active and the entity begins to communicate with Zanzi in her dream. The entity, immensely powerful but hurting, tells Zanzi her name is Shar, and Zanzi senses that Shar is deeply and obsessively preoccupied by such emotions as hate, fear, envy, lust and introspection, as it is through such that Shar can control those over whom she has influence. And for the first time Shar reveals herself to Zanzi, a form so vast she seems to span the universe. Shar's face outlined as a constellation of dark blue shades against the blackness of negative energy is the most beautiful Zanzi has ever seen or could ever have comprehended, and upon its viewing Zanzi immediately begins to sob tears of longing as she yearns to become part of the essence of Shar and to soothe her pain. Waking abruptly, and with hands shaking as she brushes away the tears from her eyes, Zanzi eagerly begins to translate what she has learnt about Shar into bardic song ("Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me" - Elton John) and for a while is so engrossed by what she has experienced that she forgets all thoughts of Neverwinter and the Wailing Death.
