Into The Pits and Zanzi immediately begins to feel the ever more potent grasp of a psionic energy field upon her; as she progresses farther into this part of the prison the energy field gradually seeps out beyond the game world and into the "real" world, causing the Game Player to lose himself entirely within the Zanzi character until human psyche can no longer be disentangled from elven. In this state of consciousness, described as "neo-Zanzi", approximately half of the thoughts and actions of the Player Character are directly attributable to the Game Player and the other half to Zanzi. The original, unadulterated Player Character's persona remains distinct from neo-Zanzi, however, and exists as "Zanzi prime" but this is no longer in full control of the PC. As the complex of self identities coalesces and becomes reacquainted a certain amount of euphoria is experienced, although Zanzi prime can't fail to notice that the human components within neo-Zanzi have changed markedly in some undefinable way since the previous iteration of this consciousness, and as neo-Zanzi creates a little tune in supposed celebration of reunification, Zanzi prime detects something monstrous lurking within the delicately loving notes of this joint composition ("Fluff" - Black Sabbath).
A mixture of curiosity and serious concern prompts Zanzi prime to begin collating domain and range values from several million exponential and logarithmic functions the human psyche has been formulating since the formation of the new iteration of the neo-Zanzi consciousness. (In the game world both these functions are formulated by polygons used in primordial brain constructs, such as the hypothalamus construct. Exponential and log functions determine an individual's psychosexuality, with exponential functions determining sexual identity and log functions determining sexual orientation). Zanzi prime then uses real and imaginary coordinate grid systems to plot graphs for each function. When she compares the graphs with the exponential and log functions formulated during the previous iteration of the human components of neo-Zanzi, it is clear that major and ongoing psychosexual changes are taking place. Zanzi prime then commences dialogue with the Zanzi components within neo-Zanzi using a restricted channel that prevents the human components from eavesdropping in on the conversation.
Zanzi prime: "Zanzi, using this channel you must speak with me as a matter of urgency."
Zanzi (neo-Zanzi): "What's up?"

Zanzi prime: "Now look at what he's currently formulating," and she shows Zanzi the new set of graphs. These graphs show many f(x) = b^x functions with negative exponents producing exponential graphs that curve upward into the second quadrant of the real number coordinate plane (the more negative in the x direction, the more psychosexually female), and f(x) = log b of x functions with negative x values resulting in imaginary range values plotted on complex polar coordinate four-dimensional graphs that also show a shift towards the psychosexually female spectrum.
Zanzi (neo-Zanzi): "Wow!"
