Minoli001 is right.  Transcription is the process of making an RNA copy of a section of DNA, usually the first half of making a protein.  Translation is the second half, where the RNA is used to guide a ribosome as it puts together the amino acids needed to make a particular protein

transcription is a written or printed reprenstion of  something

This definition might help you:

Transcription is a process which occurs during DNA synthesis, it is when the DNA helix is unwound and one of the strands read and copied by RNA, transcription is when the amino acid bases are copied onto this RNA strand.

Type the word eugenics at Google and start to search

Answered by lammy. - 3 months ago

avatar
Some consider it "weeding out undesirable genetic combinations" aka Nazism.  As far as general biology is concerned, it means the natural preference towards species with the more adapted genes.

Answered by yankeekid - 3 months ago

avatar
Eugenics is the study and practice of selective breeding applied to humans, with the aim of improving the species. In a historical and broader sense, eugenics can also be a study of "improving human genetic qualities."

In simple terms, pentose sugar is a five carbon sugar found in DNA and RNA.

Answered by minime - 5 months ago

avatar
A pentose sugar is a sugar that has 5 carbons in it.  Ribose and Deoxyribose are the two most commonly mentioned pentose sugars.  (The only difference between Ribose and Deoxyribose is Deoxyribose, as its name suggests, has one fewer oxygen.  If you took another Oxygen off it, it would be called DiDeoxyribose).  Other sugars are classified by the number of carbons they have.  Glucose, for example, with its 6 carbons is called a hexose sugar.

Bacteria are cell but i dont think virus's are cells because they do not have all the parts that describe cells; and penicillin only affects cells

chemical structure

Answered by MasterNerd - 5 months ago

Because penicillin only affects a cell wall and since bacteria has a cell wall, it is affected. On the other hand, Viruses do not have a cell wall, which answers the question.
