I don't get why #1 its D. and not E. On #3 why is it A? And on #5 why is it B and not A? This is all on the quiz! Not on the episodes.

That's because the question says, "Each of the members..." Therefore one must say, He or she. Number 3 is just a mystery, and for Number five, its her because neither, therefore it's an or verb, not an and.
